After looking at Wayne Thiebaud’s gumball machine paintings, students will create their own version with paints, a paintbrush, a circle stamp, and instructions from Rose. This project is best for kids in grades K-5.
Supplies:
– 8×10 canvas
– black crayon or marker
– pencil
– paintbrush
– bowl of water
– tempera paints (Rose used red, yellow, green, blue, and silver)
– paper plate for the paints
– cork or other round object for stamping gumballs
– paper towel
