Ages 3-6 w/adult. Enjoy a fun storytim eon the Metra train, then have lunch at The Choo Choo restaurant in DesPlaines, where meals are served on a real train track! After lunch if time allows we’ll visit the Des Plaines Public Library until we need to catch the 3:04train back to Cary. We’ll meet at the Cary train station at 12 pm. Cost is $7 per adult. Lunch is on your own, please bring cash, that’s all they accept. Maximum of 3 children/adult. Limited to35. No refunds. Register in person.


For children birth to age 6 with an adult. Stimulate your child’s senses through books, rhymes, music, and movement. Pick up your free tickets before each session at the Service Center.

Ages 6 and under w/adult. Join us after storytime in the Flex Zone for early literacy activities. Each week the focus will be on one of the practices of early literacy: playing, talking, writing, and reading. Stay, Play, and Learn meets on Mondays and Tuesdays when there is a storytime.
