Monday, February 19, 1-2 pm
Appropriate for pre-K-grade 4. Charlotte’s Web is the story of a pig named Wilbur and his friendship with a spider named Charlotte. When Wilbur is in danger of being slaughtered by the farmer, Charlotte writes messages praising Wilbur in her web in order to persuade the farmer to let him live. This is a beautiful musical about friendship that will give children an opportunity to see one of the best children’s books of all time come to life! Presented by American Eagle Productions.

Ages 9 (grade 4)-Adult. Experiment with one of our LEGO Mindstorms robots.
Singles or pairs (or triples as long as at least one is an adult). Adults register as 21. Register for each session.

Mondays, March 5, 19, April 9, 23, May 7, 6:30-8:30 pm
All ages (age 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult). Led by Ryan Brock, create your own techbased project and learn about
microcontrollers, soldering, wiring, and programming. Participants do not need to attend every session but must come to the first session in order to choose a project. Most projects will take multiple sessions. Limited to 20. There will be a fee for some supplies after projects are chosen.

Peeps Diorama Contest March 18-23
Enter our fifth annual marshmallow Peeps contest with your own miniature “Peep World” in a shoebox. “Peep Prizes” will be given to the best entries in 4 categories: Family, Youth (grades 5 & under), Young Adult (grades 6-12), and Adult. Enter by yourself or with a group. Pick up our entry form at the Service Center or print it from our website. Drop off your entry between March 15-17. Dioramas will be on display from March 18-23 and voting for the “Peeples Choice Award” will take place during the entire display period.

Thursday, March 22, 7-8 pm
Everyone is invited to celebrate with the creators and get their vote in for the “Peeples Choice Award.” All prizes will be awarded at the end of the reception.

Thursday, March 29, 1-2 pm
All ages family program. Experience reptiles and amphibians live and handson with Dave DiNaso, who blends education and a unique style of humor.

Saturday, April 28, 1-4 pm
The Northwest Suburban Astronomers return with their telescopes to offer you a glimpse of the Sun and other deep sky objects. Telescopes will be set up in the front parking lot.

Stop by to get a free comic! Choose from comics like Disney Princess, Invader Zim, Avengers, Pokemon, Adventure Time, and more. Comics are supplied by Modern Age Comics in Algonquin. One comic per person while supplies lasts.

Let the celebration continue with Jeanie B’s upbeat show jammed packed with dancing, sing-a-longs and original interactive music that kids will love.
